Founded in 2007 by Greg Brooks and his wife Letisha, Front Door Dog Training took on a unique approach by offering in-home private dog training lessons for owners and their dog. Many unwanted dog behaviors occur in various settings, therefor Greg found it in the best interest to train where the issues occurred ensuring the best success rate for all. Field trips to the dog park, outdoor shopping malls, veterinary clinic as well as other places helped the owner build confidence to effectively handle their, at times, overly excited dog, in any environment. This serves as a dual purpose because the dog is then challenged to his level of obedience while focusing during distractions. Front Door Dog Training methods of training include positive reinforcement and are tailored to meet the needs of the client and canine companion.
